In this role, you will educate clients on investment strategies and assist them with trading tools and market mechanics while also taking ownership of complex issues to deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Educate clients about investment strategies, trading tools, market mechanics, and retirement choices
- Engage with clients when answering inbound calls and tackle complex issues to offer the best possible solution
- Attend the Schwab Service Academy for paid training and support to obtain Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses
Skills
- Ability to work 8:00am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday during Schwab's training program, on-site
- After training is complete, the ability to work assigned shift to accommodate business needs to include evening, overnight, and weekend options
- Previous customer service or client relationship experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Ability to adapt to changes in the market and business
- Passion for providing service to clients
- Motivation to learn about the securities industry including the basic principles of equity, option, and mutual fund transactions
- Robust communication to include influencing and client engagement skills
- Desire to be part of a supportive and collaborative team
- Demonstrated success navigating multiple computer applications
