Cardinal Health is a leading healthcare services and products company, and they are seeking an Inside Sales - Pharmaceutical Customer Sales Representative to drive pharmaceutical generic product sales to independent retail pharmacies. The role involves developing new business partnerships and strengthening relationships with current customers through effective sales strategies and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop rapport with pharmaceutical business partners
- Cold-call on prospective business opportunities to build a pipeline of potential
- Utilize sales tools to construct a sales pitch and close on sales opportunities
- Effectively utilize value statements and business questioning to gain customer knowledge
- Develop and leverage market awareness
- Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives to develop and implement selling strategies to achieve budgeted goals
- Execute on targeted sales campaigns
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales metrics
- Meet monthly productivity expectations
- Field incoming sales opportunities
- Adapt daily coverage assignments as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- 1-2 years proven outside or inside sales experience preferred
- Strong process management, customer service, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated to achieve goals
