Job Description
Deutsche Bank is a global banking and financial services company, and they are seeking a Network Security Deployment Engineer. In this role, you will design and implement secure network environments, manage network changes, and ensure compliance with security best practices while supporting critical business operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert level network system administration, security device installation, Check Point /Fortinet firewall deployment & solution, configuration, troubleshooting, debugging
- Support for global market data applications, financial systems and infrastructure involving high volume securities trading and financial transactions utilizing network management components/technologies such as OSPF, BGP, Checkpoint, Fortinet
- Implement solutions to firewall management platform, operating system, protocols and components
- Review firewall logs and rule bases and act as subject-matter expert to ensure that security best practices are enforced
- Develop and execute contingency plans for network software and hardware failures including isolated and major outages
- Provide technical guidance to application developers and act as a liaison with traders on firewall solutions
Skills
- Experience in a corporate global network environment with a focus on network security
- Proficiency in configuring and supporting Check Point management servers
- Familiarity with proxy platform troubleshooting, including SkyHigh and Zscaler
- Strong understanding of firewall deployment and network protocols
- Ability to document and execute network changes effectively
- Cisco Certified Security Associate (CCSA) certification
- Experience provisioning and troubleshooting solutions from Check Point, Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams
