The Label Reviewer role involves assessing product labels and documentation for regulatory compliance, ensuring product safety and quality through meticulous review and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Review product labels, documents, and records against checklists, SOPs, and regulatory standards
- Identify and document discrepancies, formatting errors, or missing substantiation
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of reviews and corrections
- Meet daily and weekly throughput targets while ensuring accuracy
- Log and track work using spreadsheets, databases, and workflow dashboards
- Escalate unclear or high-risk issues to senior reviewers or experts
- Collaborate with cross-functional review teams including Formatting, Ingredient, Claims, and QA/QC
- Communicate findings and updates through email, messaging, and shared systems
- Work independently and effectively in a remote, process-driven setting
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks
- Ability to interpret and consistently apply structured guidance and rules
- Experience with spreadsheets, databases, and task management tools
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
- Reliable and self-directed with the ability to meet deadlines remotely
- Comfortable handling confidential or sensitive product information
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and residency within the country
- Associate's degree or higher
- 2+ years in a high-paced professional environment
- Experience in QC/QA, regulatory compliance, document review, or quality assurance
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
