Job Description
Kroll is a global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions, known for its expertise in valuations and expert services. The Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial and valuation analyses for various purposes, working closely with senior team members and developing a professional network.
Responsibilities
- Will be tasked to work on a variety of financial and valuation analyses for a variety of purposes, including litigation/expert witness matters, financial reporting, fairness opinions, investment valuations and income tax
- Prepare valuation analyses, detailed financial models, written reports and presentations
- Work closely with Managing Directors, Directors and Vice Presidents in a growing practice area
- Develop a network of corporate, legal and other professionals
Skills
- Some valuation and accounting experience preferred but not essential
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work with corporate clients and their legal and other professional advisors
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and ability to perform in-depth analysis
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while remaining detail oriented and ensuring projects meet timelines
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- CPA, CBV or CFA designations or pursuit thereof is preferred
