Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Solenis is a leading global producer of specialty chemicals focused on delivering sustainable solutions for water-intensive industries. The Site Engineer role involves providing support for account operations, collaborating with sales management, conducting testing, and engaging with customers to ensure effective chemical utilization.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support for account operations, ensuring the effective, economical, and safe utilization of chemicals and equipment
- Collaborate closely with sales management to develop and execute chemical programs
- Communicate with sales management regarding account activities to keep all stakeholders informed
- Conduct necessary testing at the account to verify the safety and efficacy of treatment programs
- Engage proactively in the event of issues at customer sites, addressing concerns and collaborating with sales management and customer teams to devise corrective strategies
- Perform data analysis to evaluate program performance and aid in decision-making processes for ongoing improvements
- Collaborate with and support process owners in a factory environment to proactively lead and implement continuous improvements
Skills
- B.S. in Science or Engineering
- 1-3 years industry experience (pulp & paper or water treatment)
- Documented results making process improvements, solving complex and non-routine technical problems
- Project management experience
- Strong relationship building skills
- Good communication skills both written and oral with multiple organizational levels
- Experience learning new concepts and/or technology and applying them
- Ability to work with autonomy
- Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude and skills
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
