Job Description
Laerdal Medical is a company that provides medical solutions, and they are seeking a Sales Support Specialist I to support internal teams and external customers. The role involves managing quotes and proposals, ensuring Salesforce accuracy, and assisting with regional events while delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction with quotes and proposals
- Facilitate revisions and consult with Client Executives to meet customer needs and requirements
- Uphold Laerdal values while delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers
- Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for Client Executives, Regional Channel Managers, National Accounts, and Government teams
- Create accurate quotes, proposals, sole source letters, proforma invoices, and manual invoices within established timelines (quotes within 8 hours, proposals within 24 hours)
- Verify contract eligibility, pricing, and check stock availability and lead times
- Maintain accurate Salesforce entries for opportunities and activities, including updates to past-due opportunities
- Provide administrative support for regional events such as Mini SUNs, Major SUNs, and workshops
- Prepare event materials including badges, agendas, and literature; manage CVent registrant lists
- Utilize established best practices throughout the sales support process
- Research order status, account credit terms, and account status
- Process no-charge entries and complete Education Market Order Forms for quotations
- Consistently adhere to Laerdal policies and lead in Salesforce usage
- Proactively interact with Customer Success and other internal stakeholders to complete administrative tasks
- Seek innovative approaches to enhance sales team support and operational efficiency
Skills
- High School Diploma – certificate or degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Sales Support and/or Customer Service experience
- Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment
- Strong commitment to customer engagement and delivering exceptional service
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus
- Familiarity with AI tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and support innovative solutions
