Job Description

Laerdal Medical is a company that provides medical solutions, and they are seeking a Sales Support Specialist I to support internal teams and external customers. The role involves managing quotes and proposals, ensuring Salesforce accuracy, and assisting with regional events while delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction with quotes and proposals
  • Facilitate revisions and consult with Client Executives to meet customer needs and requirements
  • Uphold Laerdal values while delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers
  • Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for Client Executives, Regional Channel Managers, National Accounts, and Government teams
  • Create accurate quotes, proposals, sole source letters, proforma invoices, and manual invoices within established timelines (quotes within 8 hours, proposals within 24 hours)
  • Verify contract eligibility, pricing, and check stock availability and lead times
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce entries for opportunities and activities, including updates to past-due opportunities
  • Provide administrative support for regional events such as Mini SUNs, Major SUNs, and workshops
  • Prepare event materials including badges, agendas, and literature; manage CVent registrant lists
  • Utilize established best practices throughout the sales support process
  • Research order status, account credit terms, and account status
  • Process no-charge entries and complete Education Market Order Forms for quotations
  • Consistently adhere to Laerdal policies and lead in Salesforce usage
  • Proactively interact with Customer Success and other internal stakeholders to complete administrative tasks
  • Seek innovative approaches to enhance sales team support and operational efficiency

Skills

  • High School Diploma – certificate or degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Sales Support and/or Customer Service experience
  • Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment
  • Strong commitment to customer engagement and delivering exceptional service
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and support innovative solutions
