Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Oracle is a leading technology company, and they are seeking a UX/UI Designer to enhance their product design. The role involves collaborating with engineers and product managers to create user-centered designs, prototypes, and conducting usability testing.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather user requirements
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings
- Create a cohesive style guide to ensure consistent design language is followed across the product
- Create prototypes, wireframes, and mock-ups to demonstrate the functioning and layout of the product
- Conduct usability testing to identify gaps in design and see if they can be further improved
- Responsible for staying current with new UI/UX developments and techniques
- Test applications for usability, in partnership with stakeholders and users
- Works in our Agile/Scrum environment, participating in and contributing to the ceremonies and processes (daily stand-ups, code reviews, sprint retrospectives, etc.) that keep the process continually improving
- Works on a development team which may include other technical professionals, subject matter experts, project stakeholders and executive leadership
