Our Finance client is seeking a Content Writer for some remote freelance work. This is fully remote, up to 10 hours/week, ongoing.

Must have relevant samples in the professional services or financial services space to be considered - BONUS if you have worked in private equity!

Create, edit, and publish content for the company's blog, website, and LinkedIn.
Own the full content creation process: topic ideation (in collaboration with another member of the team), drafting, editing, and final execution.
Post and update content in WordPress, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the site.
Develop and optimize LinkedIn content, including company posts, insight promotion, ultimately resulting in reshares.
Stay on top of industry and market trends to generate timely, relevant content within the professional services / financial services space.
Execute email communications via Mailchimp, including press releases, company announcements, and potential newsletters.
Work closely with team for onboarding and asset orientation (templates, workflows, WordPress/Mailchimp logistics).
Promote generated content across all appropriate channels, ensuring consistent visibility and alignment with company goals.
Plus if you have experience with LinkedIn advertising efforts!

Proven experience in content creation and content execution within professional or financial services; private equity familiarity is a strong plus.
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to speak to industry trends, core competencies, market relevance, and thought leadership.
Hands-on knowledge of WordPress, LinkedIn, and Mailchimp (or similar) best practices.
Experience using Canva for templates and marketing materials.
Experience with mass email platforms (Mailchimp preferred, but not required).
Ability to interpret high-level direction from leadership and independently execute the content strategy.
Flexibility to work variable hours depending on content cycles and priorities.
A proactive, trend-aware mindset.
