Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Edkey is a company focused on improving AI-driven coding assistants. They are seeking a Software Engineer to evaluate and enhance these models by designing coding challenges, reviewing outputs, and providing feedback to improve performance.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve AI-driven coding assistants and models by designing coding challenges, reviewing outputs for correctness and performance, and providing clear, actionable feedback to help models improve
- Give AI chatbots coding challenges and evaluate their outputs for correctness, style, and edge cases
- Measure model performance, identify failure modes, and document reproducible examples
- Debug and reason through algorithmic and logic errors returned by models
- Explain your solutions clearly — be prepared to walk through how and why your code solves a problem
- Select and opt into projects based on your interest and schedule (remote, project-based)
Skills
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows
- Comfortable solving coding problems similar to LeetCode/HackerRank and explaining your approach
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal English (native or bilingual level)
- Remote-capable: reliable internet and a workspace suitable for focused technical work
- Applicants must be located in the United States and eligible to work as an independent contractor
- Current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor's degree
- Familiarity with one or more of C#, C++, HTML, SQL, or Swift
- Examples of coding problem solutions or links to public code samples
