Job Description
We are looking for a cohesive set of retro-style sticker designs inspired by WWII-era graphics and vintage travel posters. The overall style should feel hand-illustrated, slightly textured, and authentic to the 1940s aesthetic. We want these to feel like they could have existed in that era, not modern or AI-generated.
The set will include 4 designs:
Museum Front (National Museum of the Pacific War)
Simplified illustration of the front of the museum
Does not need to be highly detailed or architectural
Focus on strong shapes, lighting, and composition in a retro poster style
Tank
WWII-era tank
Bold, slightly simplified illustration
Emphasis on strong silhouette and vintage color blocking rather than heavy detail
Submarine
WWII submarine, preferably surfaced or partially submerged
Can include water elements in a stylized, graphic way
Keep it clean and readable at sticker size
WWII Propaganda-Inspired Design
Inspired by authentic WWII posters
Strong typography and bold composition
Patriotic but tasteful, not overly clichΓ©
Could include a short phrase or slogan
Style Requirements:
Must feel hand-illustrated, not AI-generated
Limited color palette (vintage tones, slightly muted)
Subtle texture is encouraged (grain, print texture, etc.)
Clean enough to reproduce well as stickers
Process:
We would like to start with rough sketch concepts for each design before moving into final illustrations.
