Position Summary
100% REMOTE ROLE. MUST have experience working at an MSP. This position will provide both IT support and consultation for companies in a wide range of different industries while also handling escalation from our Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers. This role requires you proactively engage in every opportunity needed to ensure prompt and efficient service and support for our... clients.
Typical Duties:
Β Responsible for diagnosing and resolving highly technical issues that Tier 1 and Tier 2 couldn't resolve. This may include investigating network issues, server issues or application issues.
Β Helps establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by excelling in job duties.
Β Responds to support requests and provide solutions.
Β Document troubleshooting procedures, solutions, and configurations for future reference. May also conduct training sessions for Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers to improve overall technical competency within the organization
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Β BachelorΒs degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
Β Microsoft Certification Β MTA required, MCSE preferred
Β Minimum of 5 years experience in IT support.
Β Must possess excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Β Must possess excellent multitasking and communication skills.
Β Excellent written, grammar and documentation skills.
Β Strong knowledge and experience with computer and network (switches, routers, access points, etc.) hardware.
Β Strong knowledge and experience with LAN/WAN architecture and best practices within peer to peer or client/server domain Windows environments.
Β Strong knowledge and experience with TCP/IP protocol, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory and VPN.
Β Strong knowledge of virtualization, storage, firewalls, backup and disaster recovery
Β Advanced knowledge of Windows Operating Systems including Windows 10 and 11, Server 2016, 2019, 2022.
Β Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Β Communicates effectively both in writing and orally.
Β Excellent interpersonal communication skills when communicating with clients in person.
Β Works well in team environment and under high pressure.
Β Must be able to work with and without supervision and be a self starter!
Β MSP experience only please.
Β 100% remote, you can work anywhere in the state of CA.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour.
