Blazer Jobs has partnered with a local school district to hire a dedicated and experienced School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the school year. This role is within a special education setting, focusing on supporting students with behavioral needs. This position requires experience with special education students and families.

Area: Denver, CO

Hourly Pay Range: starting at $30-$35+, finalized by school experience.

Schedule:
Β• Academic School Year Calendar
Β• M-F Standard School Hours
Β• For the first 8 weeks, you'll be in a high school classroom with 13 students. After those 8 weeks, you'll have the option to choose from K-12 programs throughout the district.

Key Responsibilities:
Β• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Β• Collect and record data on student behavior and progress.
Β• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with behavioral challenges.
Β• Assist in developing and maintaining a positive and safe learning environment.
Β• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' behavioral goals.

Requirements:
Β• Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
Β• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
Β• 2 years of college credits in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred. (60 Credit Hours)
Β• Previous experience working as a RBT, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
Β• Experience with special education students and families is highly preferred.
