Job Description
A U.S.-based company developing a dynamic pricing platform that will enable Amazon brands to determine the ideal price for each product is looking for a Python Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of writing well-tested code that is easy to read and understand. The company's AI technology enables brands to analyze hundreds of real-time data points and pinpoint the perfect price. The company has managed to raise more than $2 mn during their Seed round of funding. This will be a long-term, full-time position requiring some overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
ย ?Communicate effectively with team members
ย Ask for help and feedback when needed and engage in knowledge sharing
ย Write code and tests for pulling data from 3rd party integrations and loading it into a structured database for each data source (ETL)
ย Provide API access to the data collected from 3rd parties
ย Analyze data sources to help decide which are useful for the DS/ML team
ย Maintain the data... pipeline architecture, automation, scalability, and error handling
ย Monitor pipeline performance and stability
ย Job Requirements:
ย Bachelorยs/Masterยs degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
ย At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
ย Prolific experience working with Python and API Integrations like JSON, XML, CSV, etc.
ย In-depth knowledge of SQL programming language and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc)
ย Nice to have some experience with Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL, and ETL Pipelines
ย Fluent in spoken and written English communication
