Key Responsibilities
Β Deliver personalized online instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with special needs.
Β Create and manage virtual Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and learning plans.
Β Collaborate closely with families, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
Β Utilize assistive technology to enhance learning and engagement for students.
Β Monitor and evaluate student progress in the virtual classroom setting, making adjustments as needed.
Qualifications
Β Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree is preferred).
Β Valid teaching license in West Virginia with a Special Education endorsement.
Β Experience with online or distance education is a plus.
Β Strong digital skills and proficiency in educational technology.
Β Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
