The engineer will be responsible for enhancing the test automation system to accommodate additional testing capabilities by creating end-to-end scenario tests that execute within a continuous integration test system. By reducing the complexity of file data management with ongoing new features and a single, user-friendly solution in a customer's data center or in the public cloud, the company's cutting-edge technologies enable businesses to innovate with their mission-critical digital files. Job Responsibilities:
ย To guarantee that the experience you give to clients is comprehensive, work together with software developers and product managers.
ย Encourage test planning early on in the feature... development process and support it in a variety of ways, such as by creating new workflow tests and tools, improving current tests, or integrating the feature within the "dogfood" environment
ย To guarantee that a wonderful customer experience is maintained at all times, showcase strong consumer empathy and the ability to translate that empathy into helpful feedback during the feature design process and high-quality automated tests
ย Use the company's products with creativity and curiosity
ย Work together as a member of an agile feature team to influence tested designs that give our customers a great experience
ย Advocate for seamless customer experiences in all product areas
Job Requirements:
ย Bachelorยs/Masterยs degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
ย At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a software test engineer
ย 8+ years of experience making contributions to frameworks and test automation
ย Proficiency with a higher-level programming language, like Python
ย In-depth knowledge and experience working with REST APIs
ย Demonstrable experience developing test automation for related items
ย Extensive experience working with Software Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Test Planning, and TDD/Test-Driven Development
ย In-depth knowledge of technologies for continuous integration testing
ย Strong knowledge of networking, concurrency, multithreading, file I/O, and the Linux operating system
ย Must be driven, competent, and focused on working as a team
ย Nice to have some expertise with distributed storage systems like GPFS, Weka, Isilon, etc
ย Prior testing cycle experience, including planning
ย Powerful analytical and problem-solving abilities
ย Prior experience creating test automation systems on a large scale
ย Strong communication abilities and a drive to advance the product's development
ย Fluent in conversational and written English
