Virtual Special Education Teacher
Location: Kentucky (Remote/Virtual)
Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs. This role involves delivering high-quality special education services through a secure online platform, ensuring that all students receive the education they deserve.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students with disabilities in a virtual classroom setting.
Use a variety of online tools and resources to create engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of each student.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and the educational team.
Participate in virtual meetings, staff trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education (Kentucky certification required).
At least 2 years of experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in an online setting.
Strong understanding of IEPs, accommodations, and modifications for students with special needs.
Comfortable with technology and online teaching tools (experience with virtual platforms is a plus).
