Compensation:
$105,000 - $140,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
ย Loan Product Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various loan products, including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and non-QM loans.
ย Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex loan structuring/underwriting issues and provide solutions to ensure smooth loan processing.
ย Team Building: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of underwriters and processors.
ย Process Management: Develop and implement efficient systems and processes to streamline loan processing and underwriting.
ย Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and quality of all loan files, maintaining high standards of customer service.
ย Communication: Manage, coordinate, and collaborate with loan officers, loan partners, processors, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate loan approvals.
Qualifications:
ย The ability to analyze credit reports, income, and asset documents, as well as an understanding of general ways to structure a loan
ย Strong understanding of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and knowledge of mortgage documentation, processes, and procedures
ย Extensive experience with automated underwriting systems such LP and DU
ย Superb follow-up, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills
ย Extensive experience in mortgage underwriting and processing.
ย Pre-Approval Specialist: Ability to set up, qualify, and know the best recommendations for the best loan programs and best options for loan scenarios.
ย Strong knowledge of all loan products, including non-QM products and structuring.
ย Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
ย Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
ย Excellent organizational and time management skills.
ย Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
