Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Remote Inpatient Medical Coder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding for inpatient hospital stays and be able to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Β Assign accurate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes for inpatient hospital visits.
Β Review medical records to ensure proper coding and compliance with CMS and payer regulations.
Β Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation.
Β Maintain productivity and accuracy standards set by the organization.
Β Stay up-to-date with coding guidelines and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Β Certification: CCS (AHIMA) or CIC (AAPC) required.
Β Experience: Minimum 2 years of inpatient coding experience.
Β Strong understanding of DRG assignment and CMS regulations.
Β Experience with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
Β Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Β Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
