Overview
The Business Systems Manager oversees the technical/software support function which assists Bank employees who use the Jack Henry banking system including Accounting, Deposit, Retail, and Loan platform processing. Assists with a variety of other ancillary applications. Responsible for the analysis and problem-solving for system-related issues.
In Short
Β Maintain regular interaction with senior officers regarding software and support issues.
Β Interact with Compliance Department on regulatory requirements.
Β Facilitate team meetings and provide direction.
Β Supervise direct reports and conduct performance appraisals.
Β Review incoming projects and validate requests.
Β Work closely with other departments on projects.
Β Manage software support staff and project assignments.
Β Participate in project meetings related to Jack Henry core system.
Β Maintain user authority in Jack Henry system.
Β Assist with ancillary applications.
Requirements
Β 10-15 years of experience in program troubleshooting and basic programming.
Β BachelorΒs Degree or equivalent experience in IT or systems analysis.
Β Ability to motivate and influence others.
Β Solid knowledge of Jack Henry operating system.
Β Efficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Β Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Β Excellent communication skills.
Β Ability to work under deadlines with interruptions.
Β Self-motivated and organized.
Β Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
