Job Summary:
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for following up with potential new customers and closing deals for our cybersecurity product offerings. This role involves working closely with leads , engaging with new clients, negotiating terms, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, the ability to convince potential customers, and a deep understanding of our cybersecurity solutions. Additionally, the Sales Account Manager will drive revenue growth and contribute to the overall business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Follow-up:
ย Engage with new leads provided by the Sales Director promptly and professionally.
ย Establish initial contact with potential customers and build a relationship.
ย Conduct needs assessments to understand the clientยs cybersecurity requirements.
2. Customer Engagement:
ย Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to discuss their needs and present our cybersecurity solutions.
ย Provide detailed product information, demonstrations, and tailored proposals to prospective clients.
ย Address client inquiries and concerns effectively, providing accurate and timely information.
3. Deal Negotiation and Closing:
ย Negotiate terms and conditions with potential clients to close deals.
ย Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and contracts.
ย Work to achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the Sales Director.
4. Client Relationship Management:
ย Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and to foster long-term relationships.
ย Ensure smooth handover of closed deals to the account management or customer support team.
ย Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
5. Revenue Growth:
ย Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and new leads.
ย Develop strategies to increase sales volume and market share.
ย Proactively seek ways to expand the client base and increase revenue through innovative sales approaches.
6. Sales Process Management:
ย Track and manage all interactions with leads and clients using CRM software.
ย Provide regular updates to the Sales Director on the status of leads and deals in the pipeline.
ย Analyze sales performance data and adjust strategies to improve effectiveness and close rates.
7. Market Analysis and Reporting:
ย Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
ย Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on client interactions and market observations.
ย Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
8. Collaboration:
ย Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
ย Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless implementation and support of cybersecurity solutions.
ย Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance overall business performance.
1. Education and Experience:
ย Bachelorยs degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
ย Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the cybersecurity or IT industry.
ย Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets. Experience with channel business development is a strong advantage.
