Personal Banker 1 Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker 1 to join our team. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for providing exceptional banking services to our customers while promoting sales and service strategies.
Β Successfully complete on-going training programs, including Personal Banker 1 and Teller 1 training.
Β Perform various teller transactions, open deposit accounts, input consumer loan applications, and navigate the loan process.
Β Support sales and service strategies that build relationships and promote needs-based selling.
Β Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Β Maintain confidentiality of customer information and activities.
Β Promote and achieve accuracy and quality in branch work.
Β Recognize and act on opportunities to achieve assigned sales and service goals.
Β Become proficient with job-related systems and equipment.
Β Participate in the general upkeep and appearance of the Branch.
Β Participate in available training opportunities.
Requirements:
Β High school graduate or equivalent.
Β Minimum one year retail banking experience in sales and customer service.
Β Excellent customer service skills.
Β Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Β Basic math aptitude and proficiency.
Β Knowledge of bank accounting principles.
Β Ability to learn and utilize new technologies.
Β Knowledge of general banking products and services.
Preferred Qualifications:
Β One year work experience at First National Bank and Trust preferred.
