Job Overview
The Comm Bnkg. Relationship Managers main responsibility is business development, credit quality, relationship development and retention and to be a liaison with other business line partners to meet their clientsย Banking needs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
ย Maintain and service assigned portfolios and appropriately cross sell other bank products.
ย Maintain close customer contact to ensure continued satisfaction and to follow or anticipate additional financing needs.
ย Monitor and report changes in credit quality.
ย Negotiate to properly structured and priced credit facilities consistent with the bank's credit policies and lending practices.
ย Prepare effective packages for credit approval circulation and to present packages to the required level of credit authority.
ย Attend loan closings to ensure loans are properly closed.
ย Oversee proper handling of customer transactions such as advances, payments, wire transfers, etc.
ย Ensure that the bank is in possession of current financial information and that the information has been properly analyzed and on file.
ย Maintain and follow a list of prospective customers.
ย Develop and maintain new business sources.
ย Solicit new business opportunities.
ย Valid Driver's License required.
Required Skills:
ย Knowledge of credit underwriting, basic accounting and loan documentation.
ย Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
ย Good level of interpersonal and social skills needed to interact with customers or prospective clients.
ย Good time management skills.
ย Good mathematical skills.
ย Ability to sell, negotiate and meet sales goals.
ย Good credit and administrative skills.
ย Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
ย Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Required Experience:
ย High School Diploma and a minimum of 10 years related experience or Bachelor's Degree in a related field with commensurate experience.
ย Community and/or industry involvement in territory.
ย Bachelors Degree with more than 10 years related experience preferred.
