About the position
The Hotel Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests, managing all aspects of their accommodation to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay. This role involves responsibilities such as registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about the hotelยs amenities and services.
Responsibilities
ย Perform all check-in and check-out tasks

ย Manage online and phone reservations

ย Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data

ย Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)

ย Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
,
ย Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities

ย Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
,
ย Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
,
ย Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
,
ย Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
,
ย Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Requirements
ย High school diploma or GED
,
ย 1 year of hotel experience (preferred)
,
ย 1 year of front desk experience (preferred)
