About the position
The Teen & Early Intervention Specialist is responsible for overseeing teen programming and early intervention initiatives under the direct supervision of the Comin Up Site Director. This role focuses on providing needs-based services and activities to at-risk and gang-involved youth aged 12-18 in Fort Worth, aiming to reduce gang violence and positively impact their lives.
Responsibilities
Β Accountable for assigned programming and activities

Β Ensure quality programming and activities

Β Actively participate on a multi-disciplinary team
,
Β Adhere to all organizational health and safety policies
,
Β Take necessary precautions to protect members and staff
,
Β Report incidents and complete documentation on time
,
Β Maintain discipline and de-escalate conflicts
,
Β Complete all required reports and administrative duties on time
,
Β Collect and manage required data for reporting
,
Β Ensure accuracy of data and reporting
,
Β Be a positive role model for youth
,
Β Maintain emotional control under pressure
Requirements
Β High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
,
Β Minimum 1 year experience with youth, preferably with teens
,
Β Ability to work evening and night hours
,
Β Ability to connect quickly and establish rapport
,
Β Ability to facilitate, teach, or instruct
,
Β Ability to follow instructions and conform to policies
,
Β Ability to relate to at-risk youth
,
Β Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
,
Β Detail-oriented
,
Β Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
,
Β Must pass required background and drug screens
,
Β Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

Β Bilingual
