This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization runs smoothly by maintaining accurate data and supporting essential processes in a mission-driven environment.Responsibilities:In the Data Entry Specialist role, you will:
- Enter, update, and maintain large volumes of medical and billing data into the company's database systems.
- Cross-reference and verify data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Generate reports and summaries from databases for management and operational use.
- Work closely with other team members to streamline data entry processes and ensure compliance with company protocols and HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct regular data quality audits to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
- Maintain organized digital files to ensure quick access for review, audits, or updates.
- 2+ years of data entry experience, preferably in a healthcare or administrative environment.
- Excellent typing and data entry accuracy (minimum of 50 WPM strongly preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, and experience with data management systems.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with acute attention to detail.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and confidentiality practices preferred.
- Ability to work independently in meeting deadlines while adhering to organizational standards.
Expected salary: $21.5 - 25.5 per hour
