We have partnered with a prestigious health insurance company that is looking for experienced Pharmacy Prior Authorization Technicians to join their team. This is a remote opportunity for candidates within Buffalo, Rochester... Syracuse, and Utica areas!
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Conducting medication prior authorizations
Researching and reviewing prescription and medical benefit coverage
Entering requests into the computer system
Communicating with pharmacists, providers, and members
Providing phone coverage for incoming calls
Other related duties as assigned
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, with an 8-hour shift between 8:00AM-5:00PM. Occasional, rotating on-call weekend hours required.
Duration: Temp indefinite, requesting minimum commitment of 12 months.
Pay Rate: $19.25/HR plus excellent benefits available for our temporary employees
