Position DescriptionThe Lead Recruiter serves as a consultative business partner responsible for creating and implementing talent acquisition strategies for identifying internal and external talent for Atlantic Union BankΓΒs Wholesale and Consumer Bank positions, and other key hires. The Lead Recruiter will partner with the recruiting, HR and executive leadership teams to determine recruitment needs and search execution strategy. This individual will provide consultative and strategic recruiting services, including market research, competitive intelligence, sourcing, candidate assessment, client advice and candidate development. In addition, this role will serve in a supervisory functions of other Talent Acquisition team members and will be responsible for coaching, developing and guiding other team members.
Position Accountabilities
ΓΒ Serve in Leadership role in Talent Acquisition, providing mentoring and coaching to recruiter(s)
ΓΒ Manage assigned recruiter(s) on the Talent Acquisition team
ΓΒ Collaborate with business unit leaders and hiring managers to define and document hiring forecasts
ΓΒ Lead strategic sessions with internal customers to understand the overall strategy, internal and external pipeline and any gaps
ΓΒ Develop comprehensive current and future search strategies and be able to clearly communicate those strategies
ΓΒ Leverage talent intelligence and candidate insights, such as labor market intelligence, to tailor strategy and inform the customer
ΓΒ Collaborate with HR business partners to identify and implement improvements to bring a unified experience to our customers and candidates
ΓΒ Leverage social media tools to inform recruiting campaigns and contribute to brand strategy
ΓΒ Generate a diverse talent pipeline, building a database of talent for the future
ΓΒ Proactively identify and recruit passive candidates, using sourcing strategies, cold calling, and networking tools
ΓΒ Manage outsourced searches and search firms to establish winning search strategies and processes
ΓΒ Continues to identify process improvements (e.g., credit guidelines, background check) that drive greater efficiencies and quality of hire
ΓΒ Lead senior level searches across the Bank
ΓΒ Educate hiring managers on what it means to be a true recruiting organization and developer of talent
ΓΒ Actively manage and promote the referrals program
ΓΒ Establish regular reporting on search progress, including candidate pipeline, diversity initiatives, and market competition
ΓΒ Consult with hiring managers on the assessment and evaluation of candidates
ΓΒ Conduct a thorough reference process and background checks on all finalist candidates
ΓΒ Continually stay up-to-date on current search tactics, process updates and audit procedures
ΓΒ Ensure a positive client and candidate experience throughout the hiring process
ΓΒ Flawlessly articulates the Bank's value proposition
ΓΒ Obtain market critical information on candidate experience, acquisitions, motivations, pay and talent availability
ΓΒ Monitor and ensure compliance to company, state, and federal employment guidelines
ΓΒ Ensure that the applicant tracking system (UKG) is consistently and effectively used to provide accurate recruitment metrics and compliance
ΓΒ Demonstrate a general understanding of employment laws and regulations
ΓΒ Oversee project management for TA projects; take on leadership role for assigned projects

This position reports to the Head of Enterprise Talent.
Position Qualifications
Education & Experience
ΓΒ Bachelor's Degree required
ΓΒ Minimum of 6-8 yearsΓΒ experience in Talent Acquisition
ΓΒ Banking and financial service experience strongly preferred with knowledge of the Wholesale (Commercial) and Consumer banking functions
ΓΒ Experience in leading a team preferred
ΓΒ At least 3+ years of experience with data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Applicant Tracking System, UKG preferred)
ΓΒ At least 2+ years of experience in strategic development; building recruitment strategies
ΓΒ Strong command of Microsoft Office products: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, required
ΓΒ Proven experience working with Talent Acquisition systems and processes required
ΓΒ Project management or experience running large projects preferred
ΓΒ Proven success in building targeted diversity recruitment strategies; partnerships with diversity and community organizations
ΓΒ Preferred certifications in Sourcing and Human Resources e.g., CIR, SHRM

ΓΒ Strong brand and social media skills for creating and launching social media campaigns, ability to use Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed.com and other niche sites
ΓΒ Demonstrable ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment
ΓΒ A strong client-focus with outstanding judgment and critical thinking skills
ΓΒ Strong aptitude for process improvement coupled with recruiting compliance knowledge and understanding of regulatory landscape
ΓΒ Strong talent assessment skills
ΓΒ Proven continuous improvement and learning agility skills
ΓΒ Self-starter with strong project management skills and ability to work well under pressure
ΓΒ Drives consensus and connects the dots amongst teams/partners

Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
