Boutique virtual assistance agency looking for Virtual Executive Assistant/Board Liaison to serve female-identifying writers focused nonprofit organization located in Washington. You will perform various executive administrative tasks, including managing emails, scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements. A large part of this role will be working with a diverse board of directors with complicated schedules and very little time. A strong Internet connection is required, along with experience using communication tools like Zoom and Google Meet. Ultimately, you should be able to handle administrative projects and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision within given deadlines. An understanding of how to take board meeting minutes is required.Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of EA experience. Project management experience. Non-profit experience.
Responsibilities:
ΓΒ Respond to emails and phone calls
ΓΒ Schedule meetings
ΓΒ Book travel and accommodations
ΓΒ Manage a contact list
ΓΒ Manage projects
ΓΒ Prepare customer spreadsheets and keep online records
ΓΒ Organize client's calendars
ΓΒ Perform market research
ΓΒ Create presentations, as assigned
ΓΒ Proactively address clients concerns
ΓΒ Provide customer service as first point of contact
ΓΒ Take board minutes
ΓΒ Attend leadership meetings with ED, take notes and send applicable action items
Skills:
ΓΒ Proven experience as an assistant working remotely or relevant role
ΓΒ Familiarity with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services and VoIP Google Suite
ΓΒ Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g. Google Calendar, Calendly, etc)
ΓΒ Excellent phone, email and instant messaging communication skills
ΓΒ Excellent time management skills
ΓΒ Top-notch organizational skills
ΓΒ Passion for learning new/skills/platforms
ΓΒ Ability to excel in an autonomous environment
ΓΒ High school diploma required; additional qualifications as an Administrator or Executive Assistant are a plus
ΓΒ Previous experiencing assisting C-Suite executive or Executive Director (nonprofit)
Experience with boards and nonprofit clients/support critical for success in this position.
Availability for occasional travel to Washington ideal (2-3x/year)
Average of 30-35 hours/week - on call availability preferred
ΓΒ 1099 contractor
ΓΒ Hourly compensation: $22-$29/hour DOE
ΓΒ Candidates with the ability to travel to Whidbey Island, WA 2-3 times/year HIGHLY PREFERRED
