Essential Functions:
Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
ΓΒ Personal Hygiene
ΓΒ Ambulation/Transfers
ΓΒ Dressing/Shaving
ΓΒ Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
ΓΒ Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
ΓΒ Performs light housekeeping activities
Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home staff. These could include (but are not limited to):
ΓΒ Providing hospice supportive care
ΓΒ Medication reminders
ΓΒ Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
ΓΒ Assisting with blood glucose monitoring
ΓΒ Care of bed-bound patients
ΓΒ Incontinence care
ΓΒ Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts
Preferred Experience in:
ΓΒ Hoyer lift
ΓΒ Personal care
ΓΒ Range of Motion Exercises
ΓΒ Companionship
