Principal Accountabilities
รย Completing pre-operation and work alongside USDA
รย Monitoring of product temperature, weight checks, seal checks, label verification and packaging
รย HACCP monitoring of all products
รย Performing sensory evaluations of product such as Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) testing which may include smelling and visual inspections
รย Preventative maintenance on FSQR equipment
รย May teach, train, or coach others on work activities, methods and procedures
รย Ensuring all stakeholders follow GMPs, good housekeeping and maintain plant policies, a safe working environment, and be a champion of personal food safety
รย Maintaining a safe working environment
รย Champion of personal safety and food safety
รย Standing for long periods of time, the use of stairs and ladders, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas of the facility
รย Perform pre-operational inspections
รย Audit product and processes for specification compliance including sampling and testing product as required
รย Sample and test product as required
รย Perform operational SSOP, HACCP and SOPs audits as required
รย Support Production as a specification resource
รย Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
รย Authorized to work in the United States
รย Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship
รย Must be 18 years or older
รย Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations
รย Basic use of a computer
รย Basic math skills
รย Must be able to complete quality forms, HACCP forms, SSOPs and other forms as needed
Preferred Qualifications
รย Minimum of 2 yearsรย experience in manufacturing or other high paced environments
รย Previous food safety or quality experience
