About the position
- Responsibilities
- Answer internal and external calls for Security Operations.
- Dispatch security officers to calls for service based on the information obtained from callers.
- Respond to all emergency situations and hospital/clinic codes.
- Monitor hospital/clinic video screens and maintain security logs.
- Handle all calls and on-call for security and emergency preparedness for the main campus and regional clinics.
- Make notifications for security incidents and emergency preparedness issues.
- Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year experience as a telephone operator, dispatcher, or related experience.
- International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Certification to be obtained within 90 days of promotion/hire.
- Proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
