About the Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Reddit Community Specialist to help establish authentic presence for KlyptAI, an innovative AI-powered video workflow platform, within key video professional communities on Reddit. This is a specialized role focused exclusively on Reddit engagement and relationship building.
This is a long-term part-time position (10-15 hours/week) starting immediately.
What You’ll Be Doing
Community Integration (70%):
- Build authentic presence in 4-5 target subreddits: r/videography, r/editors, r/VideoEditing, r/filmmakers, r/WeAreTheFilmMakers
- Engage daily with meaningful comments, helpful responses, and valuable contributions
- Participate in weekly discussion threads and community events
- Build genuine relationships with active community members and moderators
Value Creation (25%):
- Create detailed tutorial posts about video workflow optimisation
- Share helpful resources and tools (non-promotional)
- Answer technical questions about video editing and production workflows
- Contribute to problem-solving discussions with genuine expertise
Strategy & Reporting (5%):
- Identify trending topics and engagement opportunities
- Track community sentiment and feedback about video workflow challenges
- Provide weekly reports on relationship building progress
- Suggest strategy optimizations based on community insights
What We’re Looking For
Reddit Experience (Required):
- 5,000+ karma with consistent engagement history
- 2+ years active Reddit account with regular posting/commenting
- Deep understanding of Reddit culture, etiquette, and unwritten rules
- Experience in professional or technical subreddits (not just casual communities)
Industry Knowledge (Preferred):
- Basic understanding of video editing workflows and challenges
- Familiarity with video production software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve)
- Experience with content creation or digital media
- Understanding of professional video production pain points
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written English with authentic, conversational tone
- Ability to provide helpful, detailed responses to technical questions
- Understanding of how to add value without being promotional
- Comfortable engaging with professional and technical audiences
