- Responsibilities
- Dispatches support services personnel for appropriate department requests and ensures resolution for customer requests, notifying supervision of potential problems when necessary.
- Performs accurate telephone procedures and maintains proper interactions with all customers, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
- Monitors all systems to achieve a five-minute response time, prioritizing tasks to ensure patients and customers receive timely services.
- Enters data using various systems to communicate necessary information to personnel.
- Adheres to hospital policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, as well as those of regulatory agencies.
- Uses proper body mechanics while performing duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
- Requirements
- Proficiency in the utilization of computer software.
- High degree of problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain working relationships with internal and external departments and customers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Accurate accounting skills when dealing with money.
