The Administrative Support Specialist provides crucial administrative support to Directors of Development, including meeting preparations and travel reimbursements, while also assisting with file maintenance and event coordination.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to one or more Directors of Development
- Includes preparations for donor and advisory board meetings as well as trip books
- Submits travel reimbursements for development team members
- Assists other members of the administrative support team with maintaining files
- Provides reception desk coverage
- Prepares for Arts and Sciences Foundation board meetings and events in coordination with the Director of Donor Engagement and Events
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred
- Familiarity with prospect management databases is preferred
