Job Description:
Job Summary
The Content Creator will aid instructors in creating and migrating content for online assessments. In this role, students will create randomized algebra problems in an online assessment platform.
The successful candidate will be able to work with limited supervision, demonstrate trustworthiness by maintaining the confidentiality of course and assessment content, and be attentive to detail.
The pay is $12.50/hr. It is a fully remote position; hours are flexible but we want students to commit to 10-20 hr/wk for 8-16 weeks. Students can work remotely from within the US only.
Job Duties
ΓΒ Creating new or modifying existing algebra assessment problems
ΓΒ Inputting problems into online assessment platform
ΓΒ Verifying accuracy and robustness of problems in online assessment platform
Required Experience
ΓΒ Strong background in quantitative disciplines, such as Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering
ΓΒ Able to work 10 - 20 hours per week
ΓΒ Ability to work independently and on a team
ΓΒ Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
ΓΒ Desire to learn and improve
ΓΒ Discretion in handling confidential information
ΓΒ Ability to quickly learn new software
ΓΒ Have passed MA 161/162 or equivalent with A or B grade
Preferred Experience:
ΓΒ Experience with LaTeX or computer programming
