The RoleTalkNow is a 24/7, 365, on-demand telehealth service that exclusively serves the higher education student population. As a full-time TalkNow Provider with TimelyCare, you will act as a primary form of emotional support for the students and members (i.e. faculty & staff) we serve. We are looking for providers who have successfully completed a masters degree in professional counseling, social work, and/or marriage and family therapist who have worked with populations in need of crisis intervention, de-escalation, risk assessment, and safety planning.
Location
We offer a remote work environment. Work from home criteria includes but is not limited to maintaining your own internet with approved speed requirements, HIPAA compliant workspace free from distractions, and successful completion of the credentialing, onboarding, and training programs. Adherence to HIPAA and compliance standards, and all policies / procedures required for this role.

Wednesday & Thursday... 8pmรย6am CST (20 hrs. total)
What Youรยll Do
รย Act as a primary support & triage for incoming TalkNow sessions (via phone, video or chat) to support members (i.e. students, faculty, or staff) with a person-centered, strengths-based approach
รย Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and triage support as needed for students using TalkNow services, providing full availability during the hours of your shift
รย Collaborate with students to develop care plans, progress care, and conduct risk assessments as needed
รย Appropriately document sessions, assessments, and care plans in our electronic health record (EHR)
รย Adhere to established standards for AIDET communication (acknowledge, introduce, duration, explanation, and thank), clinical documentation quality, HIPAA/PHI and telehealth regulation
รย Consistently meet the required performance metrics for number of required encounters per week and shift Participate in the quality assurance investigations to gather all applicable facts
รย Support the Director of Mental Health with client-facing related activities
What You Bring
รย Minimum of a masterรยs degree in professional counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy is required
รย Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills
รย Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation
รย Fully Licensed Mental Health Practitioner with North Carolina state license - PLUS, Associate will be accepted
