AMSC – Corporate Counsel
AMSC (The “Company”) has engaged Major, Lindsey & Africa on an exclusive basis to conduct a search for a Corporate Counsel.

Through its Gridtec Solutions, AMSC provides the engineering planning services and advanced grid systems that optimize network reliability, efficiency and performance.
Overview:
American Superconductor Corporation is looking for an experienced, business-savvy, creative problem-solver with strong analytical skills to join our fast-paced legal organization and to provide commercial counseling and transactional support to AMSC on a global basis. Candidate must have a proven track record of successfully counseling clients on various levels of complex commercial law transactions and legal issues, to achieve optimal business outcomes with minimum risk. The candidate must be a self-starter and team player ready to assume significant responsibility as a key business partner within AMSC’s global businesses.
Experience:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of legal experience with 3 years experience inhouse in a commercial counseling role.
Location/Relocation:
Ayer, MA or Bordentown, NJ. 3 days a week in the office.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
Bar:
Currently licensed in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with ability to be qualified to work in-house in Massachusetts.
