Job Description
RPA is an independent advertising agency that prioritizes a People First philosophy, creating a supportive culture for its employees. They are seeking an Assistant Media Planner to support the development and optimization of integrated media campaigns for Honda model launches, working closely with Media Planners and Supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Assist in formulating and compiling integrated media recommendations across digital and traditional channels
- Support digital strategy development and the management of digital media buys, in addition to broader media plan support
- Help execute, manage, and optimize campaigns across channels, including digital
- Support campaign tracking, pacing, and performance reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting (flowcharts, competitive reports, digital performance summaries, etc.)
- Compile and review syndicated research and ongoing reports to inform planning and optimization
- Train, support and manage interns
- Collaborate with cross-channel partners to support cohesive, integrated plans
Skills
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organization and multitasking skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (pivot tables and vlookups)
- Comfort working with numbers, media math, and performance data
- Ability to interpret research and analyze data across channels, including digital
- Interest in gaining hands-on experience with digital media planning and buying within an integrated team environment
- Experience with syndicated research tools (Nielsen, Arbitron, MRI) is a plus
