Job Description
The Boston Beer Company is currently hiring for the position of Associate Compliance Analyst. This role involves supporting the approval of alcoholic beverages and managing regulatory submissions, licensing, and compliance tasks related to product labeling and advertising.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare, maintain and follow up on regulatory submissions for product approval, including formula and label approvals
- Participate in interactions with regulatory agencies as needed to obtain product approval/clearance
- Participate in key meetings and decision-making process regarding formulation and labeling
- Assist in the review and approval of product labeling, packaging and advertising for compliance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate and prepare regulatory submissions to support the import and export of alcoholic beverages
- Coordinate, prepare, and maintain federal and state licensing to support the production and sales of alcoholic beverages
- Prepare and organize internal databases and documents on a variety of regulatory and compliance matters
- Performs other regulatory affairs duties when requested
- May assist in the performance of internal quality and regulatory compliance audits and the evaluation and monitoring of corrective actions
- Perform factual and legal research
- Provides backup support to others on the Regulatory Affairs team
- Tactical/Execution of Regulatory tasks as assigned
Skills
- 1 - 5 years of relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
- Excellent, clear language and communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment and under time constraints and deadlines
- 4-year degree
