Cohen & Steers is a financial services firm committed to an inclusive culture. The Associate, Wealth Analyst will provide operational support to financial advisors and assist in business development and relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to Internal Advisor Consultants in servicing existing relationships and sales opportunities
- Assist on product related requests including but not limited to Morningstar templates, attribution reports and holdings analyses
- Assist on data related projects related to prospect targeting, CRM systems management and opportunity pipeline maintenance
- Utilize data and technology to identify specific markets, firms and financial advisors to assist outreach efforts of senior salespeople
- Work towards achieving Series 7 and Series 63 or 66 licenses in first 3 months(Once licensed)
- Assist on non-priority call campaigns, inbound requests and lead follow up via phone calls and emails
- Provide superior service and support to financial advisors by fielding inbound questions, responding to requests, and resolving account issues
- Support efforts of one of three assigned subdivisions of wealth management: Retirement, Private Wealth Solutions, Wealth Strategy (:25% of daily duties)

- Knowledge of base financial concepts and capital markets
- Bachelor's degree

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, financial advisors, and clients in writing and speaking
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships easily
- Detail oriented, meets deadlines and executes responsibilities with minimal errors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Treats others with respect and consideration
- Must be able and willing to work in a team-oriented environment
- Degree in Finance or Economics preferred
- Experience within Financial Services preferred
- SIE required, Series 7 or series 63 preferred (if not, obtain within three months)
- Knowledge of Salesforce, data and analytics a plus
