We import and curate exceptional chocolate from around the world and operate across e-commerce, wholesale, and retail. While we are a small team, our operational complexity is global: international supply chains, perishable inventory, and multi-channel sales. We operate like a tech-enabled company inside a specialty food brand. This summer, we're expanding from traditional automation into agentic AI workflows. The Role This is a high-autonomy role for someone who loves the "tinker-heavy" side of AI and wants to see their code impact real-world revenue and cash flow. You won't be doing busy work; you will be building the digital nervous system of a growing company. You'll work directly with the Founder to design systems that reduce manual overhead and drive operational intelligence. What You'll Build Agentic Workflows:
Implement frameworks like LangGraph or OpenClaw to handle complex operational tasks. Custom Tooling:
Build AI-powered internal tools and dashboards using Python and LLM APIs (OpenAI, etc.). System Integration:
Connect Shopify, Coda, and various SaaS platforms via APIs and webhooks. Operational Intelligence:
Design automations for forecasting, purchasing, and data synchronization to eliminate "spreadsheet friction." Prototyping:
Rapidly deploy decision-support tools that influence how we manage inventory and margins. What We're Looking For Strong Python Fundamentals:
You should be comfortable writing clean, functional code. Git + GitHub workflow (branches, PRs, basic code review) , SQL fundamentals (selects, joins, group by) for inventory/sales data), Data wrangling (pandas, CSVs, messy exports) API Fluency:
Experienced with REST APIs, JSON, and debugging "messy" real-world data. AI Curiosity:
Familiarity with LLM concepts, prompt engineering, and the current AI landscape. Builder Mindset:
You prefer solving real-world puzzles over clean homework problems. You're independent and don't need your hand held. Bonus Points:
Experience with the Shopify API, Make.com, or Coda.
