Engagement: Remote, but work EST Duration: 6 to 12 month contract Our customer seeks an AWS Cloud/Kubernetes Engineer who will be working with the engineering team and focusing on AWS infrastructure and automation. A key part of the role is championing and leading infrastructure as code, build, manage and automate AWS infrastructure for the required solution. Duties & Responsibilities: • Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS • Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements • Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code • Implement containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes, Terraforms, and Amazon EKS. Ensure all components must be 100% free of Critical and High vulnerabilities. • Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools • Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas • Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems Qualifications: • At least 5+ years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (Terraforms, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, S3, EKS) • Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements • Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform • Experience with Kubernetes, GitHub, Jenkins, ELK, EKS and deploying applications on AWS • Prior experience in Security hardening • Strong bias for action and ownership Apply tot his job
