Job Description
Sono Bello is America's top cosmetic surgery specialist, known for its extensive network of board-certified surgeons. The Benefits Coordinator will support the administration of employee benefits programs, serve as a key contact for inquiries, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, leave policies, and other offerings
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution
- Serve as a liaison between employees and insurance providers to resolve benefits-related issues, ensure effective use of plans and options, and manage enrollments, renewals, and claims
- Support the open enrollment processes and employee communications efforts related to benefits
- Support employee education on benefits plans and options during open enrollment and one-on-one support
- Partner with Accounting team on reconciliation and payment of benefits vendor invoices
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintain accurate records in HRIS and vendor systems
- Support audits, compliance filings (e.g., ACA, 5500), and internal policy updates
- Partner with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate benefits deductions and reporting
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations (e.g., HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, ERISA)
- Monitor trends and make recommendations for program enhancements
Skills
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, HIPAA, ACA)
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and analytical thinking
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
