Europ Assistance Canada is part of the Generali Group and is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their Travel and Assistance team. The role involves providing service to clients, supporting sales efforts, and ensuring a superior client experience in the Travel Insurance industry.


Responsibilities

  • Provide service to clients with existing policies as well as assist in new business generation
  • Provide support to our sales team in maintaining and growing servicing of existing policies profitable books of Travel Insurance
  • Provide pre and on-trip advice
  • Demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Takes personal accountability for delivering superior client experience including effective problem solving
  • Responsible for communicating in a collaborative team with team members and managers
  • Interact with clients to provide clear and concise answers to their inquiries
  • Demonstrate commitment by taking ownership and accountability of the client and their inquiries
  • Protects the client’s privacy and confidentiality according to the established guidelines
  • Professional and positive attitude is required
  • Assist in other claims areas when required

Skills

  • Post secondary education
  • Fluency in French required
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of travel insurance products
  • Ability to adapt to fluctuating call volumes and ability to prioritize work to optimize efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Takes personal accountability for delivering superior client experience including effective problem solving
  • Responsible for communicating in a collaborative team with team members and managers
