Job Position: Bookkeeper (Remote Work)
Employment Type: Contractual, Full-Time
- Work Hours:
- Your work hours will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST) or 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM Philippine Standard Time (PST) during the months when Chicago is on CST.
- For the months when Chicago observes Central Daylight Time (CDT), your work hours will be 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time (PST), which is still 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CDT.
- Both shifts include a one-hour break.
Job Responsibilities:
- 1. Accounts Payable & Financial Transactions
- Classify and record financial transactions received via email, Asana, and Teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring timely entry of Accounts Payable.
- Upload supporting documents to OneDrive and maintain organized digital records.
- Manage bill payments, update the Billings tracker, and post transactions in Buildium.
- Request bills and statements before due dates to ensure timely processing.
- Manage vendor accounts, ensuring timely payment and contract compliance.
- 2. Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, budgets, and expense reports.
- Reconcile subsidiary and general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding financial transactions and reporting.
- 3. Project & Draw Request Management
- Track and update financial records related to ongoing construction and real estate projects.
- Prepare documents and communicate with Lenders
- Coordinate with Chicago Title (CT) for actual draw disbursements and follow up with representatives regarding draw requests.
- 4. System Management & Compliance
- Maintain bookkeeping policies and develop efficient accounting systems.
- Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with internal controls and industry best practices.
- Oversee tax documentation preparation, working with accountants as needed.
- 5. Ad Hoc Tasks
- Assist with special projects and financial analysis as requested.
- Provide support to management and team members regarding financial matters.
- Handle additional bookkeeping or administrative duties as required.
- Job Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in real estate or construction industries.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Buildium or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with digital tools such as OneDrive, Asana, and Microsoft Teams is a plus.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
