Job Description
Prophix is a company that helps finance teams enhance their operations through their Financial Performance Platform. They are seeking a Business Analyst who will work closely with clients on consulting projects, providing product expertise and managing customer issues to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients on various short term consulting projects
- Take guidance from more senior staff to be able to solve customer problems
- Take part in several remote implementations including the implementation and training of various Prophix solutions
- Provide product expertise and guidance to internal and external customers
- Work independently and proactively to manage customer issues and to assure the highest levels of customer satisfaction
- Respond to inquiries pertaining to customer's business problems
- Work on internal project work, under the guidance of the PS team
Skills
- A mix of experience, training, or education that helps you succeed in this role
- Accounting experience is a definite asset
- Two (2) or less years of relevant work experience
- Must possess strong business and entrepreneurial skills
- Superior communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational ability is required as the candidate will be required to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Must be comfortable working in a project environment interacting with senior level executives including CFOs, VPs and other line finance staff
- Must possess a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and be familiar with the financial statement preparation process. Comprehension of financial concepts/terminology is required
- Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
- Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
- Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
- Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
- Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located
