Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clerical and Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at FirstFour Staffing. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing exceptional support to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Accounting Experience: Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience in a small to medium-sized office environment.
Software Proficiency: Be proficient in accounting software platforms, specifically QuickBooks (Desktop and Online).
Adaptability: Learn unique software platforms, such as the FSTC system and Baldwin County Databases and Information Systems.
Clerical Duties: Perform complex clerical duties, maintaining precise and timely work products, records, and historical information.
Bookkeeping Principles: Understand bookkeeping/accounting principles and apply them effectively.
Computer Skills: Be proficient in computer/internet, specifically Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
Data Collection: Obtain primary financial data for accounting records.
Numerical Data: Compute and record numerical data with accuracy.
Transaction Verification: Check the accuracy of business transactions.
Data Entry and Administration: Complete data entry and administrative tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
Previous Experience: Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related fields is essential.
GAAP Knowledge: Fundamental knowledge of GAAP is required.
Multitasking and Time Management: Prioritize and multitask effectively, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, ensuring a smooth workflow.
