- Required:
- IL RNSuccessfully manages multiple priorities required.Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook e-mail required.Ensure effective communications with key stakeholders.
- This role requires a nurse with CDI experience and knowledge of Epic and 3m 360 CAC.
- Experience typically required for a CDS position includes:
- Clinical Background- A strong inpatient nursing clinical foundation: ICU, Med-Surg, Tele/Cardiac, and NeuroCDI-Specific Skills
- Experience reviewing inpatient documentation to identify gaps or conflicting information
- Understanding of clinical indicators, disease processes, and treatment pathways
- Ability to formulate compliant physician queries to clarify severity, type, acuity, or underlying conditions
- Knowledge of how documentation impacts SOI/ROM, risk adjustment, and quality measures
- Coding and DRG Knowledge
- Working understanding of ICD-10-CM/PCS
- Familiarity with MS-DRGs and APR-DRGs
- Understanding how documentation drives reimbursement and publicly reported quality outcomes
Pay: $63.00 - $65.00 per hour
