About the position We are seeking a dedicated Construction Coordinator to join our team in Chantilly. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to advance into a Junior Estimator or Sales position. Our company specializes in a variety of fencing solutions, including commercial chain link, iron, vinyl & composite, wood, and specialty fences, as well as gates for highly secured facilities. Responsibilities β€’ Work closely with project managers to develop comprehensive action plans for projects, focusing on resources, budgets, and timeframes. β€’ Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary. β€’ Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions. β€’ Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information. β€’ Supervise current projects, ensuring all team members stay on track. β€’ Manage project-related paperwork, ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored. β€’ Prepare and review project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails to direct project correspondences. β€’ Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives. β€’ Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures to adhere to budget constraints. Requirements β€’ Data entry and administrative support. β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook. β€’ Experience with construction documents and subcontractor management. β€’ Understanding of RFIs and project coordinating. β€’ Knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. β€’ Scheduling and appointment management skills. Nice-to-haves β€’ Any experience in construction or fencing is acceptable. β€’ A desire to transition into a Junior Estimator or Sales role is a must.
